European consumer goods major Groupe SEB has acquired Swiss company Swizzz Prozzz, which manufactures mini hand choppers with high performance multi blade systems. The acquisition will enable Groupe SEB to extend its reach in kitchen utensils and tools market in Europe. Swizz Prozzz records revenues to the tune of €8-10 million in a year.

Pursuing an aggressive inorganic growth strategy, Groupe SEB is on an acquisition spree for the past few years. In 2016, Groupe SEB completed the acquisition of the German group WMF (Württembergische Metallwaren Fabrik), a world leader in automatic professional coffee machines and German leader in cookware.
